New £50m scheme will deliver new shops and offices near Rotherham
Plans to build a new £50m retail, office and leisure scheme near Rotherham have been published.
Property companies Dransfield Properties and the Harworth Group have confirmed their joint venture agreement to develop a 12-acre site at Waverley, to include a new food store, office space, medical centre and hotel, as well as retail space.
It will be the next stage in a development that already includes 600 homes and the Advanced Manufacturing Park, home to firms such as Rolls-Royce and Boeing.
Over the next 15 years, the plans for Waverley also include the building of 3,400 more homes, and a further 1m square feet of facilities to expand the Advanced Manufacturing Park.
