Techbuyer, a sustainable IT solutions provider based on Hornbeam Park in Harrogate, has been listed in Buzzacott’s Organic Growth 25 (OG25). They are one of four Yorkshire companies to feature this year.
The list recognises the UK’s top 25 businesses in terms of fast and sustainable growth. It also demonstrates that it is possible to grow a business without investment or venture capital funding.
Techbuyer buys, refurbishes and sells servers, storage and networking equipment, laptops and desktops from over 150 brands. The company’s priority is to provide excellent performance and unrivalled customer service. They also extend the life cycle of IT equipment to maximise budgets and keep quality technology in use.
2020 has been a busy year for Techbuyer. Labelled as an essential business during the Covid-19 pandemic, the company has been keeping IT systems running across the world. 41 new employees have joined, totalling an increase of 26% since January 2020, and new customers have doubled from August 2019 to August 2020. 
To help ease costs during a difficult climate, Techbuyer has also launched new services. This includes IT Rentals which avoid upfront payments, an online tool which configures HPE servers in minutes, and a Laptop Upgrade Service.
