MONEYPENNY, THE OUTSOURCED COMMUNICATIONS PROVIDER, BECOME NORTHERN POWERHOUSE PARTNER

Moneypenny, one of the world’s leading outsourced communications provider based in Wrexham, North Wales, has become a member of the government’s Northern Powerhouse Partner Programme. The appointment is another addition to the ever growing network of over 200 businesses that are working alongside government to contribute positively to economic growth across the North of England and Wales.

Moneypenny delivers telephone answering, live chat, switchboard and multichannel customer services to businesses of all shapes and sizes, from sole traders right up to multinational corporations.

The Partner Programme is an essential part of creating the Northern Powerhouse and works to build a network of partner organisations who all believe strongly in the economic potential of the North, and support the need for a combined effort by government and business to realise that potential. The Northern Powerhouse enables individual cities and towns of the North to pool their strengths. It means investing in better transport to connect up the North; backing strengths in science and innovation; investing in culture, housing and improving the quality of life to make the North a magnet for new businesses and talented people. It also involves devolving powers and budgets, and creating powerful new elected mayors to give people in Northern cities and towns a strong voice.

Joanna Swash comments:
“We are delighted to announce our membership of the Northern Powerhouse Partner Programme and honoured to be supporting diverse business growth right across the North. Our continued business success and ambitious business growth in the UK and US means we are employing over 10 new team members every month and we receive over 3,000 unsolicited CVs every year. We will be continuing to support the local economy through investing and innovating in technology and our amazing people, as well as bringing new people into our industry”

Minister for the Northern Powerhouse, Jake Berry, MP said:
“I’m very pleased to welcome Moneypenny as they become the latest business to join our expanding network of Northern Powerhouse Partners.
