“With 71.5% of businesses across the North of England being an SME, it is crucial that they are represented in driving growth and shaping our region as we move forward. By becoming a Northern Powerhouse partner, we are proud to be one of the many voices for small businesses and are passionate about doing the role justice. We believe it is crucial that SMEs play a key role in securing the North as a leader for the creative and digital sector. Our commitment to representing small businesses includes being members of the Small Business Charter which will see us attend their Summer Reception at the House of Lords in June. They aim to strengthen the role business schools play in supporting small businesses, local economies and student entrepreneurship. As we are partners of the Government’s Northern Powerhouse Programme, this will see us continue to strive to lay the path for success and support other growing businesses.”
