STAKEHOLDER ENGAGEMENT CONSULTANCY SP BROADWAY DELIGHTED TO BECOME A NORTHERN POWERHOUSE PARTNER

Planning and development stakeholder engagement consultancy SP Broadway has become a member of the government’s Northern Powerhouse Partner Programme.

SP Broadway has helped with community consultation and public engagement for new homes and development projects across the Northern Powerhouse including within the Boroughs of Stockport, Wirral, West Lancashire, Harrogate, Redcar and Cleveland and the city of Newcastle.

Commenting today, David McFarlane, Director of SP Broadway said:
“We are delighted to become a partner of the Northern Powerhouse having recently opened a Manchester office at Spinningfields in August and welcomed Lord Goddard (former Leader of Stockport Metropolitan Borough Council) as a consultant to assist with stakeholder engagement and community consultation.

“Given the Prime Minister’s recent announcement to deliver the Northern Powerhouse Rail, we are pleased that the government have reaffirmed their commitment to the Northern Powerhouse with backing for a Leeds-Manchester rail link.

“We look forward to playing our part in helping to deliver the Prime Minister’s pledge to give communities a greater say over changes to transport, housing and infrastructure that will genuinely benefit the area and help drive economic growth.”

In the past few years SP Broadway has helped with community consultation and public engagement for over 17,000 homes. SP Broadway’s advice and insight is bespoke, often featuring a form of political and community engagement and public consultation.
